A brand kit should make the next job easier

A logo buried in a message thread is difficult to reuse. A useful brand kit gives you an organized set of files and a short guide so your website, contact card, and everyday graphics feel connected. Start with where you actually need to use the brand: on a phone, a website, a social profile, or a printed item.

Our Brand Kit organizes an existing usable identity. If the business needs a new mark, New Logo Design + Brand Kit is a separate scope. Agree on which job is needed before paying for file preparation.

Ask for files that suit the medium

For a website or presentation, a transparent PNG can be useful. A genuine vector master can scale for larger output, when a vector source exists or is created in the project. Renaming a small image does not turn it into a vector. Keep the original files and ask which versions are suitable for print or digital use.

A practical delivery list includes a primary logo, agreed light and dark variants, web exports, and a clear folder structure. Special print production, trademark advice, and a complete identity strategy are separate jobs unless expressly included.

Define the colours and typography

Record the chosen colours and how they should be used. Include the typeface names, weights, and where to obtain the necessary licences. A font file found online is not automatically licensed for every use.

Think about body text and buttons as well as the logo. The W3C contrast guidance sets a minimum of 4.5:1 for ordinary text and 3:1 for qualifying large text. Those checks help keep everyday communications readable, even though logos themselves have an exception.

Prepare for small spaces

A detailed logo may lose its shape in a browser tab or small profile circle. An agreed small-format version can help. Google's favicon guidance describes the technical requirements for a site's search favicon; providing a file does not guarantee it will appear in results.

A short usage sheet should show spacing, backgrounds, and which export to choose. Include a named point of contact for future changes so nobody has to guess what the files mean.

Connect the brand to something useful

The next step might be a Digital Contact Card, a website, or a simple announcement graphic. The Brand Kit + Digital Card Bundle combines existing-brand preparation with a shareable contact page and QR code.

Choose the deliverables you will use now. Save broader campaigns, new photography, or a full brand strategy for a separately agreed brief. Good organization makes it easier to extend the brand later without starting again.
